GISTDA team up with Tourism Authority of Thailand exhibiting the 2nd seminar on strong tourism to affluent and sustainability.

     On January 26, 2017, GISTDA joined an exhibition and seminar on strong tourism to affluent and sustainability called “Power of Tourism: Sharing Caring and Connecting” held by Tourism Authority of Thailand at Napalai Ballroom, Dusit Thani Hotel. General Thanasak Patimaprakorn, the Deputy Prime Minister presided over the opening ceremony and gave a special speech on strong tourism to affluent and sustainability. GIS in accordance with a Royal Project initiated by His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen called “The footprint Yatra Maharaja Dairy Queen Entry” http://royalprojects.gistda.or.th and GIS for tourism of Thailand http://tourism.gistda.or.th were exhibited as online map to pass on solid knowledge, share real experience in operation, for example, the making of data for the Royal Project and tourism information as Project Based in order to let the participants understand the seminar. Also, to learn the process and protocol that drives the way of thinking and working, which lead to engendering inspiration in performing tourism task later. The Deputy Prime Minister, the governor and the top management of Tourism Authority of Thailand, including the seminar participants from all sectors have interestedly joined this exhibition.
