GISTDA signed the MOU with the Space Agency of Ukraine
GISTDA and the State Space Agency of Ukraine (SSAU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the area of space technology. The virtual ceremony, held on November 1, 2023, was led by Mr. Pakorn Apaphant, Ph.D., Executive Director of GISTDA and Mr. Volodymyr Ben, Acting Head of SSAU. Together, Mr. Pavlo Orel, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand, attended to witness this significant occasion.
The primary objective of this MoU is to foster cooperation in the field of using outer space for peaceful purposes. GISTDA and SSAU envision a collaborative future, with plans to work together in various areas, e.g. rocket launcher, satellite technology and development, as well as space education and capacity building.
The SSAU is one of the most strategic and successful space agencies, contributing to its country's achievements in space. For this reason, this MoU signing represents a significant step forward in the global space community, fostering cooperation and innovation that can propel both nations towards new horizons in space technology.
