เมื่อวันที่ 30 ตุลาคม - 3 พฤศจิกายน 2566 ที่ผ่านมา GISTDA นำโดย ดร. ศิริลักษณ์ พฤกษ์ปิติกุล  รองผู้อำนวยการ GISTDA และคณะ เดินทางเข้าร่วมประชุม Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS) ณ Nangang International Exhibition Center เมืองไทเป ประเทศไต้หวัน ภายในงานมีการจัดเวทีนำเสนอบทความทางวิชาการ การบรรยายพิเศษจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านต่างๆ และบูทนิทรรศการ โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า 40 ประเทศทั่วโลก  ในการเข้าร่วมประชุมครั้งนี้ เพื่อร่วมหารือกับคณะทำงานในการเสนอให้ประเทศไทยเป็นเจ้าภาพในการจัดการประชุมเชิงวิชาการ ACRS 2026 ครั้งที่ 47
